The checklist
Everything still to do, and who is doing it.
The checklist covers everything that is not food and not money: borrow chairs, book the hall, buy ice, put the bins out. Most occasions start with a list of common tasks already filled in, which you can edit, delete or add to.
Assigning
Any task can be assigned to someone who is coming. They are notified, the task shows their name, and they can tick it off themselves.
-
Anyone assigned can tick — You do not have to be the host to complete a task that was given to you.
-
The host can tick anything — Including tasks assigned to other people.
-
Unassigned tasks are fine — Items with nobody against them stay on the list for whoever gets to them.
Order and progress
Unfinished tasks stay at the top and completed ones drop below with a line through them. The bar at the top shows how many are done.
Tip — Generate writes a starter set of tasks based on the occasion, the time of day and how many people are coming. Everything it adds can be edited or deleted like any other item.
