Put Daawat on your home screen
It works like a real app once installed — and it is the only way to get alerts on iPhone.
Daawat runs in your browser and can also be installed. Once it is on your home screen it opens without an address bar, and alerts arrive under Daawat's own name and icon rather than your browser's.
iPhone and iPad
Open Daawat in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
Android
Open the browser menu and choose Install app, or accept the install banner when it appears.
Computer
Click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar.
Important — On iPhone and iPad you must install Daawat to receive any notifications. Apple only delivers them to sites that have been added to the home screen, so allowing notifications in settings has no effect until you do.
If the install banner never appears on Android, it generally means Daawat has been installed on that device before. Use the browser menu instead. The option is always available there.
