Saved places
Save home once, pick it in one tap forever.
A saved place is an address you pin once and reuse whenever you host.
Pinning a place
Search for the address, or drag the pin directly on the map. Daawat stores the exact coordinates alongside the text, so when a guest taps Maps on your invitation they are sent to the precise point you dropped rather than to a search for an address that may match several places.
The label is what you and your guests see on the invitation, such as Home, Mum's place or the masjid hall. It can be up to 60 characters.
Your default place

One default at a time — Setting a new default clears the old one.

Set for you the first time — The first place you save becomes the default without being asked.

Pre-selected when you host — The Where step of the wizard opens on your default, so hosting at your usual place needs no input.
Saving as you go
You can also save a place while creating a daawat. Pin the new address, switch on Save to my locations, and it is kept for next time. It takes the place name as its label, or the address itself if you left the name blank.
Note — Choosing a saved place copies its details onto the event. Renaming, re-pinning or deleting a saved place afterwards does not change daawats you have already created. Their address stays as it was when you made them.
