Signing in
A code the first time, your password after that.
Daawat has no usernames and no email addresses. Your phone number is your account.
Creating your account
-
1
Enter your number and pick a password
Use the number your friends already have for you, so their invitations reach the right account.
-
2
Agree to the two boxes
One lets us text you, the other covers the terms and privacy policy. Both are needed before you can continue.
-
3
Confirm the six-digit code
It arrives by text and proves the number is yours. This happens once, when you register.
Signing in after that
Your number and your password, on one screen. No code to wait for.
Daawat keeps you signed in on a device you have used before, so in practice you should rarely type any of this a second time.
What your number carries
-
Invitations that arrive before you do — People can add you to a circle or an event before you have ever opened Daawat. Everything waiting for you appears the moment you register with that number.
-
Everything follows you to a new phone — Connections, events and history are tied to the number, not the handset. Sign in with the same number and it is all there.
Watch out — You cannot change your number yourself. Doing so moves your whole account. Get in touch and it will be handled for you.
Note — Forgotten your password? Tap Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen. We text a fresh code, then you pick a new password.
