Terms of Service

Last updated August 3, 2026

1. What Daawat is

Daawat is an app for planning private gatherings with people you already know. You can create an event, invite guests, coordinate who brings what, and split the cost. It is operated by Devletes.

By using Daawat you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Your account

You sign in with your mobile number. We text you a one-time code to confirm the number belongs to you, and you then set a password.

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 13 years old to use Daawat.

3. Inviting other people

Daawat lets you invite people by entering their mobile number. This is the part we ask you to take seriously.

When you add someone's number you are confirming that you know that person and that they are happy to hear from you about this. Only add numbers belonging to people who would expect an invitation from you.

You may not use Daawat to send unsolicited messages, to add numbers you obtained from a list you bought or scraped, or to contact anyone who has asked you to stop. We record who added each number and when, and we may suspend accounts that misuse invitations.

4. Text messages

Daawat sends text messages in two situations: a one-time verification code when you sign in or reset your password, and โ€” where enabled โ€” a single invitation message when another user invites you to an event or to connect.

Message frequency: one message per sign-in or password reset request, and one message per invitation sent by a user. We do not send recurring or promotional texts.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for receiving messages.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from Daawat. Reply HELP for help. Opting out is permanent until you reply START โ€” no other user can text you through Daawat once you have opted out. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Your content

Event details, photos, messages and expenses you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them to the people you shared them with, so the app can work.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or designed to harass someone.

6. Money features

Daawat helps you record and divide what an event cost. It does not process payments between guests and does not hold anyone's money. Settling up happens between you directly. Amounts shown are a record of what you told us, not a demand for payment.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using Daawat at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@daawat.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, particularly the invitation rules in section 3.

8. The legal part

Daawat is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for what happens at your gathering.

We may update these terms. If we change something significant we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
