You & your people

Circles

Group the people you invite together anyway.

A circle is a named group of your connections, such as the cousins, the neighbours or the Friday football lot.

What a circle does

  • Invites everyone at onceInviting a circle invites every member. People already invited individually are not invited twice or notified again.

  • Collects the group's eventsAnything anyone hosts for the circle appears on the circle page, upcoming events first.

  • Feeds the busy warningEvents hosted for a circle you belong to count towards the clash warning other hosts see when picking a date.

Who controls what

  • The ownerWhoever created the circle adds and removes members, renames it, and can delete it.

  • MembersCan leave at any time. Nobody can add themselves to a circle.

Who sees the name

A circle tag on a guest list is shown only to members of that circle. Other guests see the person without it, and no circle you belong to is named to anyone outside it.

Muting

Muting a circle silences notifications for every event hosted within it while leaving you on the guest lists. The events still appear on your home screen and on the circle page.
