Inviting people
Circles, one-by-one, or a link anyone can open.
There are three routes onto a guest list, and they can be mixed on the same event. You can keep adding people after publishing. The Guests tab offers the same three options.
A circle
Invites every member at once.
Individual people
Chosen from your connections. Use this to top up a circle invitation with a few extras.
A share link
One reusable link per event that you can send anywhere. Opening it shows a preview; the person signs in to reply.
Inviting twice is safe
Each person is recorded once. Inviting a circle that overlaps with people you already invited individually will not create a duplicate entry or send a second notification, so you can invite the circle, remember three more people, and invite the circle again. Hosts and co-hosts are skipped automatically.
Circles and households
On couples and family events, one invitation covers a whole household. When a circle contains several members of one family, the invitation goes to the head of that family and the rest of the household are told about it without being invited separately.
This applies across circles as well. Someone in two of the circles you invite, or a couple split between two of them, still receives one invitation.
On solo events every person receives their own invitation, including two members of the same family.
Note — Choosing people by name is different. If you pick two members of one family from the list yourself, both are invited.
The share link
The link belongs to the event rather than to a person, and stays the same every time you copy it. Anyone who receives it can open it and pass it on, so use direct invitations for a guest list you need to control. When someone opens the link they are also connected to you, so you can invite them directly next time.
Note — People who are not on Daawat yet can still be invited. They will see everything waiting for them when they sign up with that phone number.
