Getting started

What Daawat does

Invite people, sort the food, split the bill. All in one place.

Daawat gives every get-together its own page. The invitation, the guest list, the menu, the costs and the photos all live on that one page, and everyone invited can open it.

Every daawat moves through the same five stages, and you can stop at any of them. A simple invitation never has to touch food or money.

What you can do

  • Invite and track repliesYes, maybe and no, with a running total of how many people are actually coming.

  • Count people properlyAdults, children and grandparents are tracked separately, so you can cater and seat for each.

  • Coordinate the foodA shared menu where guests claim dishes, so nobody doubles up and nothing is forgotten.

  • Split what it costRecord the spending and Daawat works out who owes who, down to the cent.

  • Share the photosEveryone who came can add to the same album afterwards.

The word daawat means an invitation to eat.
